St Andrews celebration, Paris

We were so proud to spend St Andrew’s Day at the British Embassy in Paris celebrating some of the finest food and drink from the Scottish Islands.
Co-organised by SDI France and the Scottish Government in France, we were delighted to have our Stornoway Black Pudding showcased with MacDuff scallops, prepared by Craig Wilson, The Kilted Chef. We had a really busy night, serving around 400 guests, who absolutely loved the classic pairing of marag dubh and scallops!
Many thanks to the hosts, Dame Menna Rowling and Mairi Gougeon, Cabinet Secretary for Rural Affairs and Islands. And of course to the organisers, exhibitors, visitors and all who supported us attending this fantastic event.
